The Mirage 40i takes a completely different approach to electric fire realism. Rather than simulating flames, its patented Mirage Virtual Flame System uses real captured footage of a carefully built woodburning fire, so the flames lap across the logs with the natural cadence of a living fire. The hand-painted exposed log-effect is modelled precisely on the firewood shown in those visuals, which adds real depth to the firebox, and lifelike media completes the ember bed.

It won Gold in the Product Design category at the 2025 London Design Awards and it’s easy to see why in person.
